Anxiety & OCD Clinical Therapist Job Description

Position Overview: Our Anxiety & OCD Clinical Therapist will provide outpatient individual therapy for clients of Outsmarting Anxiety & OCD.  Clinical therapy services include speciality treatment for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. We are currently looking for therapists who have experience in or are willing to learn anxiety and OCD as a speciality using evidence based treatment of Exposure and Response Prevention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Candidates are encouraged to share their preferred age range and be open to group therapy for anxiety & OCD clients as well. If you want to be part of a growing work family, please apply!

About Outsmarting Anxiety & OCD: Here at Outsmarting Anxiety & OCD, we believe in creating a growing, work-family oriented environment while performing gold standard treatment in all areas related to anxiety and OCD.

Our mission is to help those we work with to take charge of their lives while anxiety takes a back seat. Our vision is to bring a much needed resource in the anxiety & OCD community to life in Arizona: a group of specialists whose goals are to continuously grow their knowledge and training, creatively find ways to deliver service to the whole person, and launch services beyond the therapy room.

Outsmarting Anxiety & OCD’s Core values:

1. Integrity: We pride ourselves on providing quality, evidenced based treatment, practicing honesty and transparency (for example, wait times, when a presenting problem is outside of our speciality scope), and consistently utilizing resources to remain up-to-date in our care for clients.

2. Growth: We strive to consistently grow- professionally, clinically and personally. It is important that we engage in self-care, expand our knowledge and skill-set as a clinician and in personal interests, and connect with our most authentic selves. When we are consistent with personal development, we become the best version of ourselves for each other, our clients, our families and ourselves.

3. Courage: We set an example as we help those to face fears in the pursuit of living a rich, fulfilling and meaningful life. It is important that we practice facing our own fears and challenge ourselves to pursue goals that are aligned with our values. When we practice what we teach our clients, we do better work.

4. Contribution: We work to contribute and provide value in our community through devoting ourselves to much needed service. We work to contribute to our colleagues, our team, our clients and their families. We seek to work from an abundant (not scarcity) mindset, give our time and knowledge when possible, and support to those who need it.

We are looking to hire a team of clinicians who value being part of a team and are looking to help bring OAO’s mission, vision, and values to life as we continue to grow.
